The Dead Leaves <ea>
The land is dry, the cows grow thin, and the leaves curl and die. Deep in a black pool the Rain Bull sleeps, and only he can bring the rain. When her father cannot get past the thorn bush, brave young Zinhle makes a plan of her own. Can a girl with a bundle of reeds wake a sleeping storm? This Bookbot level practises the ’ea’ sound with lesson words like ‘reach’, ‘spread’, ‘beast’, ‘great’, and ‘head’.
