Ned has a shed. It is his home, but it looks so drab. 'This place needs help,' Ned tells The Book. The Book has a plan. 'Come with me, Ned. Trust me.'
Ned takes his tool and sets off on the path. The Book glides with him. 'We go to the sand, Ned. Trust me.'
There is a big blue patch in the sand. Ned strikes it with his tool. The tool slides in. 'It is soft mud!' yells Ned. 'Dig, Ned, dig!' The Book tells him.
Blue orbs pop up from the pit. 'Take a lot, Ned,' The Book tells him. Ned grins. 'I will take them all!' He scoops them all up.
Ned pops a blue orb into the hot box. The blaze is hot. The orb bakes and bakes. Then it is a red brick! 'It is a brick!' yells Ned.
The Book has a pic in it. It is a pot! 'Make a pot with the bricks, Ned.' Ned smiles. 'A pot! That is a fine plan.'
Ned makes pot after pot. He sets the pots on the grass. 'The pots look empty,' Ned tells The Book. 'I need flowers. Lots and lots!'
Red and white flowers are all round the shed. Ned makes a beeline for the best flowers and grabs a big fistful. Buzz! 'Did a bee hum?' asks Ned.
The bees rise up! The bees are mad! They chase Ned, and Ned races off. 'Run, Ned, run!' yells The Book.
Slam! Ned is safe in the shed. A bee sits on the grass and gazes at him. 'That was not wise, Ned,' The Book tells him.
This time Ned is wise. He picks flowers far from the bees. He fills the pots. The pots look so good! 'The blue flowers are the best,' The Book tells him.
The pots shine in the sun. The shed is not drab! 'Ned, we can make a big home next,' The Book tells him. Ned grins. 'Yes! Back to the sand we go!'
