On the right side of the image, Ned stands facing forward on a dirt path in front of a wooden farmhouse, with a neutral expression, holding The Book open in his hands at waist level. Ned wears a white short-sleeved t-shirt under green overalls with visible front pocket details and dark green shoes. The Book is open with cream/off-white pages and a brown/golden-tan hardcover spine, with large round bright blue eyes, dark brown rectangular eyebrows, and a small open smiling mouth on its pages. The scene is set outdoors on a bright day with green grass surrounding the house, with fields and fenced animal pens visible in the background containing pigs and cows. The left side of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

Ned is a farmer. He has pigs. He has cows. He has land full of crops and a farmhouse that creaks in the wind. But Ned has a problem. A big, bad, very big problem. 'I need to look amazing,' he tells The Book. 'Farmers can be stylish too. I want my suit to make a statement.'

Page 2
On the left side of the image, Ned stands inside a wooden cabin or workshop, looking displeased while holding up a brown leather chestplate at arm's length in front of him. Ned wears a white short-sleeved t-shirt under green overalls. The Book hovers nearby in the upper portion, open and upright with its face visible on the pages, appearing to offer advice. The indoor setting has wooden plank walls, a wooden ceiling, and warm torch lighting.

Ned works all week in his shop. He makes a leather suit. He holds it up proudly. Then his smile drops right off his face. 'It's brown,' he says. 'Plain, dull, ugly brown. I look like a muddy potato.' 'Dye it,' says The Book. 'It takes a bit of work, but the right treatment can change everything.'

Page 3
On the right side of the image, Ned stands in a grassy field full of red and yellow flowers, facing slightly toward the viewer with a happy expression. Ned wears a white short-sleeved t-shirt under green overalls. He is bending down and reaching toward the flowers, picking some red ones and yellow ones with both hands. The Book floats in the air nearby to Ned's left, open and upright with its face visible on the pages, holding its tan quill pen. The scene is set outdoors on a bright, sunny day with a blue sky, green trees along the horizon, and Ned's farmhouse visible in the background. The left side of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

The Book sends Ned outside, where red flowers and yellow flowers grow thick in the tall grass. 'Pick a handful of each,' says The Book, waving its quill like a tiny blade. 'I have an experiment in mind.' Ned grabs a fistful of red ones and a fistful of yellow ones. 'This had better not turn out brown again,' he says.

Page 4
On the left side of the image, Ned stands inside a wooden cabin/workshop, facing forward with a determined expression, squeezing a red rose in his hands with bright red dye dripping from his fists. Ned wears a white short-sleeved t-shirt under green overalls. The Book floats nearby to Ned's right, open and animated with its face visible on the pages and mouth open as if giving instructions. Behind Ned on the far left, a piece of brown leather armor is displayed on a wooden armor stand. The indoor setting is warmly lit with wooden plank walls and torch lighting. The right ~40% of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

Back in the shop, The Book gives its first instruction. 'Crush the red flower. Squeeze it hard.' Ned squeezes. And squeezes. And squeezes. Bright red pigment oozes between his fingers like jam. 'Now rub it into the leather,' says The Book. Ned smears the dye across the suit on its stand. Brown vanishes. Red blooms. Ned gasps in amazement.

Page 5
On the right side of the image, Ned stands inside a wooden cabin or crafting room, facing forward with a disappointed, uncertain expression. Ned wears red-dyed leather armor — a red leather chestplate over his white t-shirt, with red leather leggings and his dark green shoes — and is looking down at himself. The Book floats nearby, open and upright with its face visible on the pages. The interior is lit by a wall-mounted torch, with wooden plank walls and ceiling beams creating a cozy indoor workshop atmosphere. The left side of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

Ned pulls on the red suit and looks down at himself. For a moment, he says nothing. Then his face scrunches up. 'I look like an angry tomato,' he says. 'Red is too loud. Everything about me is screaming right now.' 'Try the yellow flower,' says The Book. 'Red is bold, but yellow may be just the thing.'

Page 6
On the left side of the image, Ned stands inside a wooden-walled indoor room, facing forward with a focused expression. Ned wears a white short-sleeved t-shirt under green overalls. He is actively crushing a yellow flower in his hands, with bright yellow dye spreading on the crafting table surface in front of him. A piece of brown leather armor sits on an armor stand nearby, ready to be dyed. The Book floats just to Ned's right, open and upright with its face visible on the pages, appearing to comment on the golden color. The scene has warm indoor lighting with wooden plank walls and floors, resembling a Minecraft-style crafting area. The right ~40% of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

Ned crushes the yellow flower with a rough squeeze. Golden pigment spreads across the table like melted butter. 'Ooh!' says The Book. 'That is a lovely golden color!' Ned rubs the dye into a fresh suit, working it in until every scrap of leather turns bright, sunny yellow.

Page 7
On the right side of the image, Ned stands inside a wooden interior resembling a cozy cabin or lodge, facing the viewer with a doubtful, unsure expression. Ned wears yellow-dyed leather armor — a yellow leather chestplate over his white t-shirt, with yellow leather leggings and his dark green shoes — and is looking down at himself uncertainly. The Book floats nearby, open and upright with its face visible on the pages, appearing sympathetic. The scene is warmly lit by a wall-mounted torch, with wooden beams and planks forming the walls and ceiling. The left side of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

Ned puts on the yellow suit. He looks down. He looks up. He looks down again. 'I look like a banana,' he says. 'A big, walking banana. In foot gear.' The Book has just one comment. 'It is quite bright.' Ned looks at The Book. 'Not. That. Color,' he says.

Page 8
On the left side of the image, Ned stands inside a wooden cabin, facing forward and looking down at a crafting table with an excited, amazed expression. Ned wears a white short-sleeved t-shirt under green overalls. On the table in front of him are two small piles of dye — one red and one yellow — being pushed together, with a warm orange color spreading where they mix. The Book floats nearby to Ned's right, open and upright with its face visible on the pages, watching the mixing. The indoor setting is warmly lit, with wooden plank walls and a torch glowing on the wall. The right ~40% of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

Ned slumps at his table. One last red flower and one last yellow flower rest there. He crushes them both, not even trying very hard. Then he pushes the two piles together. The red and yellow swirl and mix. The Book looks on. A bright new pigment spreads through the dye like a sunrise. Ned's eyes go wide. 'What. Is. That.'

Page 9
On the right side of the image, Ned stands inside a cozy indoor room with wooden plank walls, facing forward with a proud, cheerful expression. Ned wears orange-dyed leather armor — an orange leather chestplate over his white t-shirt, with orange leather leggings and his dark green shoes — looking pleased with his new color. The Book floats nearby against the wall, open and upright with its face visible on the pages, looking proud. A chest is visible in the upper right corner of the room. An armor stand with the freshly dyed orange armor piece is visible nearby. The left side of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

Ned rubs the new dye into a fresh suit so fast his hands are a blur. It turns bright orange. He puts it on, looks down, looks up, and does a spin. Enjoyment spreads across his face. 'That's the color!' he yells. 'Not too bold, not too banana. Orange is perfect. Orange is just perfect.' 'Glad it only took all day,' says The Book.

Page 10
On the left side of the image, Ned stands on green grass in front of a wooden farmhouse building, facing forward with a mysterious smile, carrying a wooden armor stand under one arm. Ned wears a white short-sleeved t-shirt under green overalls. Several dark wooden armor stands are already lined up in a row against the wall of the farmhouse. The Book hovers nearby, open and upright with its face visible on the pages, looking confused and curious. The right ~40% of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

The next morning, Ned starts building. Stand after stand after stand. 'Why so many stands?' asks The Book. Ned just smiles a sly smile. He carries the stands outside one by one and lines them up in a long row against the farmhouse wall. The placement looks just right. 'Wait and see,' he says.

Page 11
On the right side of the image, Ned stands at the center-bottom on a grassy area, facing the viewer and smiling proudly with arms spread wide in a presenting gesture. Ned wears a white short-sleeved t-shirt under green overalls. Surrounding him in a semicircle are several suits of colorful leather armor displayed on wooden armor stands — red, cyan, green, yellow, and purple sets, each gleaming brightly. The scene is set outdoors in front of the wooden farmhouse. The Book is positioned to the left of Ned, open and upright with its face visible on the pages, looking proud and impressed. The left ~40% of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

Ned goes back to the farm land. He picks every flower and plant he can find. Then he crushes and mixes and dyes all day long. A red suit. A blue suit. A green suit. A yellow suit. A purple suit. Each one gleams on its stand. 'Come see!' Ned yells, spreading his arms wide. 'Come see my grand suit display!' 'What an assortment!' says The Book. It tries not to look proud. It fails.

Page 12
On the left side of the image, Ned stands outdoors at nighttime on a grassy area near a wooden fence, facing forward with a confident, fierce expression. Ned wears orange-dyed leather armor — an orange leather chestplate over his white t-shirt, with orange leather leggings and his dark green shoes — and holds a diamond sword in his right hand, swinging it forward. The scene is set at night with a dark sky, dark trees and foliage in the background, and Ned's farmhouse faintly visible in the distance. Two or three hostile mobs (zombies or skeletons) lurk in the shadows behind him at a distance. The right ~40% of the image is plain light background, clear for text overlay.

That night, Ned marches into the dark in his orange suit, blade swinging. He lights up the night like a walking sunset. Every monster for miles can see him coming. 'That suit is a bit easy to spot,' calls The Book. Ned grins with excitement. 'When a farmer goes out to fight monsters, he might as well look fantastic doing it.'
