Jill stands on the left side of the image in an outdoor grassy Minecraft landscape, facing the viewer with a worried, slightly overwhelmed expression. She has shoulder-length auburn hair with a side-swept fringe, large round dark eyes, and light skin. She wears a bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots, and holds a gray-and-brown pickaxe in her right hand. Scattered around her on the ground are tall stacks of cobblestone blocks piled haphazardly, reinforcing the problem of having too much mined stone. Behind her, two large wooden chests sit overflowing with blocks, their lids propped open and items spilling out. The scene is set in bright daylight on a green hillside with terraced dirt and grass blocks rising in the background. The right ~40% of the image is a plain parchment-style text panel.

Jill has a big problem. She has been mining all week, and cobblestone is all over the yard. Stacks on the green grass. Stacks by her home. Her chests are so stuffed the lids do not shut. Every time she squeezes in one more block, three fall over the other side. 'I need to get rid of this stone,' Jill says, 'before my home vanishes under it.'

Page 2
On the right side of the image, a long line of Minecraft-style villager characters stands queued up on a dirt and grass path, waiting to use a large bin-like structure with a doorway (Dr Can Do's stone-disposal bin) visible near the front of the queue, in a suburban neighborhood setting with buildings, green grass, and lanterns under a daytime sky with clouds. Jill stands in the middle of the line, clearly distinguishable from the brown-robed villagers by her shoulder-length auburn hair, bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. She holds her gray-and-brown pickaxe and looks frustrated and impatient, glancing toward the front of the line. Approximately eight to ten blocky villager characters in brown robes stand in the queue ahead of and behind her. The left ~40% of the image is a plain beige panel reserved for text.

No problem. She can just use the Dr. Can Do stone bin, like she does each week. But when Jill gets there, the line runs all the way up the path, and not one of the ten people is in a rush. The one behind her is asleep standing up. Jill looks at the line, then looks at her pickaxe. 'I quit this line,' she says. 'I'll make a bin myself. It can not be that hard!'

On the left side of the image, Jill and Dr. Can Do stand together on a grassy area beside a pond, rendered in a Minecraft-style blocky art style. Jill stands at a three-quarter angle facing the viewer, with her shoulder-length auburn hair, bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. She holds a sheet of paper — the pattern and list Dr. Can Do has just given her — and looks at it with a curious, eager expression. Dr. Can Do stands beside her facing the viewer, a stocky figure with light beige skin, white bushy eyebrows, a thick white mustache, and a helpful expression. He wears a white lab coat over a white dress shirt with a red necktie, dark brown belt, dark navy-blue pants, and dark brown shoes, and holds a small gray hammer in his right hand. Between them on the ground is a crafting table with redstone components laid out, and behind them to the left is a large open chest holding buckets and redstone dust, representing the items Jill will need to build her bin. The scene is set outdoors on a bright, sunny day in a suburban neighborhood with trees, rooftops, and a stone stairway visible in the background. The right ~40% of the image is a plain beige panel reserved for text.

Jill meets Dr. Can Do by the garden pond and tells him her plan. He smiles and hands her a sheet. 'Read the pattern and keep each bit in place,' he says, and taps a chest full of buckets and redstone. 'Got it, got it, got it,' says Jill, and she runs to the chest. She grabs a heap of redstone with a big grin. 'I'll have this finished before lunch!'

Page 4
On the right side of the image, Jill stands in an underground room with warm glowing light, looking down with a determined expression at a redstone contraption she has assembled on wooden platforms — the device is laid out but clearly incomplete, with no lava visible inside. Jill has shoulder-length auburn hair, a bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. Her gray-and-brown pickaxe rests nearby, and an empty iron bucket sits on the floor beside her, hinting at her next task. The scene is set indoors in a dimly lit crafting space with stone and wood block walls, illuminated by glowstone lights mounted on the walls. The left ~40% of the image is a plain beige panel reserved for text, framed by a decorative pixelated border.

It is not finished by lunch. Jill goes deep in her den and lays all the redstone on the platforms. Each repeater and each bit of redstone matches the pattern. She waits for it to hum to life, but nothing happens. The bin needs lava to melt the stone inside, and her bucket is empty. It has been empty all this time. She grabs the bucket and runs. 'Fine,' she says. 'I'll just do that myself.'

Page 5
On the left side of the image, a Minecraft-style redstone contraption is shown from an overhead angle inside a dimly lit stone room. Red redstone dust trails run across sandstone-colored blocks on the floor, connecting to redstone repeaters and components, with a visible gap in the circuit where a piece of redstone is missing. Glowing light blocks in the upper-left corner cast a warm orange glow over the scene. The right side of the image is a plain beige background reserved for text. No characters are visible in this image.

Jill gets the lava and feeds it into the bin. She holds a cobblestone block over the rim and lets it drop in. Clunk. It just sits there. 'Come on!' Jill peeks as deep as she can into the bin, and there it is. One small gap in the redstone trail, just in the middle, keeps the red dust stream from reaching the next repeater. She thinks of what Dr. Can Do said: 'Each bit matters.'

Page 6
On the right side of the image, Jill stands in her underground workshop beside her completed stone-disposal bin — a boxy redstone contraption humming with glowing redstone trails along its surface. Jill has shoulder-length auburn hair, a bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. She holds a cobblestone block in both hands, placing it into the top of the bin with a proud, triumphant smile. A faint particle effect around the bin suggests the cobblestone is vanishing as it enters. The room is warmly lit by a torch mounted on the stone and wood block wall above her, creating a cozy interior glow. The left side of the image is a plain blank panel reserved for text.

One small bit of redstone is all it needs. The trail connects, and the bin starts to hum. Jill holds a cobblestone block over the top and lets it drop. Zap. She feels a rush of glee and picks up block after block. Zap, zap, zap! 'I did it myself!' Jill yells to no one, because she is in her den all by herself. Then she smiles, because that is the best part.
