Tiren and The Hyena Jolly Phonics · Group 6: sh /sh/
Tiren is the smallest herd boy in the enkang, and no one thinks he can manage forty cattle alone. When the older boys fall sick, he grips his rod and treks past the shrubs anyway, determined to prove them wrong. Then the herd drifts toward the trees and a storm rolls in fast. Can Tiren keep the cattle together before things get worse? Written for Jolly Phonics classrooms (Group 6: sh /sh/), this book practises words like ‘rushes’, ‘shoo’, ‘crash’, ‘dashes’, ‘hush’.
