This is Ned's house. It is big and new. He made it in the bushes, with some help from his magic book.

Page 2
On the left side of the image, Ned stands in front of a wooden house with red brick details, looking down with a worried, uncertain expression and a small open frowning mouth. He has a large square head with short golden-blond hair with side-swept bangs, large round bright blue eyes with dark brown eyebrows, and wears a white short-sleeved t-shirt under green overalls with visible front pocket details and brown shoes. He stands upright with arms slightly out. The Book stands on the grass at his feet on its two short blocky brown legs, its open cream pages facing up toward Ned, with large round bright blue eyes, dark brown rectangular eyebrows, a small open smiling mouth, and holding a tan golden quill feather pen in its right hand. The scene is set outdoors in daylight on a blocky grassy yard beside the wooden and brick house, with a low grey stone wall, a leafy green blocky tree by the house, and a smaller tree, yellow flowers, and blue sky with a white cloud in the distance. The right ~50% of the image is plain white/light background, clear of characters or detail.

'I have eaten only apples for days,' Ned told The Book. 'Apples all day long, and apples for dinner too. I have wishes for real food.' The Book stepped closer on its little legs and looked up at him. 'I can teach you to grow fresh food, but you must do just as I say.'

Page 3
On the right side of the image, Ned is seen from a slightly elevated angle, crouching or bending down on a dirt path surrounded by patches of tall grass in an outdoor, daytime Minecraft-style setting. He is pulling apart a clump of tall grass with both hands, examining the small hard green seed items that have dropped to the ground. The Book stands nearby to Ned's left on its two short blocky brown legs, open and upright at about Ned's chest height, watching him work. Small green seed items are scattered on the ground around Ned's feet where the grass has been broken. Two white-and-grey sheep are visible in the background on the grassy field.

The Book tells Ned to hit patches of grass. When they break, lots of seeds drop down on the ground. 'Pick those up, we will need them,' says The Book. Ned crouches and searches the grasses to find each seed.

Page 4
On the left side of the image, Ned, a blocky Minecraft-style boy with bright yellow hair, blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and a happy open-mouthed smile, wearing green overalls over a white short-sleeved shirt and brown shoes, stands on a grassy area beside a wooden and brick house, holding a handful of small green wheat seeds in his outstretched hand. A small blank wooden signpost with no readable text stands on the grass between Ned and The Book. The Book stands on the grass to the right of Ned on its two short blocky brown legs, its open cream pages facing forward, smiling with its large round bright blue eyes and dark brown rectangular eyebrows, holding its tan golden quill feather pen in a small yellow hand. A tiny golden sparkle floats near the base of the signpost. The scene is set outdoors on a bright, sunny day in a Minecraft-style blocky world with green grass, a blocky tree, and blue sky in the background, with the right half of the image a plain pale cream background.

'Seeds!' says The Book, sounding pleased. 'Wheat seeds, to make food.' Ned holds up a handful and says, 'I found six. Do we need more?' 'Yes, Ned,' says The Book. 'Keep going. We will need big bunches.'

Page 5
On the right side of the image, Ned stands inside a wooden workshop, viewed from a slightly elevated angle. He has blocky yellow hair and blue eyes, wears a white t-shirt under green overalls, and smiles cheerfully with an open mouth. He is at a crafting table, holding a hammer in one hand while steadying a grey stone tool piece on the table with the other. The workshop has wooden plank flooring and walls, with a single supply chest visible in the background corner. The Book stands beside the crafting table on its two short blocky brown legs, holding a white quill feather, its open pages facing the viewer and showing a cheerful face with blue eyes, brown eyebrows, a smiling mouth, and small pixel block shapes. The left ~40% of the image is plain light background, left clear for text.

Ned goes into his workshop. With the Book's help, he takes some stone and makes a new tool. 'This is a hoe,' says The Book. Ned watches as the hoe takes shape.

Page 6
On the left side of the image, Ned stands at a three-quarter angle beside a long strip of freshly tilled dirt with visible grooves, gripping a hoe and dragging it through the soil with effort. He is positioned next to several trees on a green grassy area outdoors in bright daylight, near the wooden house. The Book stands nearby on the grass on its two short blocky brown legs, watching Ned work. The right ~40% of the image is plain background reserved for text.

Ned finds a good spot near his house. He clears away bushes. He uses the hoe in some patches of dirt. It makes grooves in the soil, and now there is room to plant seeds.

Page 7
On the right side of the image, viewed from a top-down angle, Ned stands at the upper-right edge of a large patch of dry, tilled soil, looking down at it with a concerned, worried expression. The Book stands on the ground near the edge of the soil patch on its two short blocky brown legs, open pages facing Ned. The scene is set outdoors in a Minecraft-style blocky world, with green grass and birch tree trunks surrounding the dry dirt area. The left ~40% of the image is plain background reserved for text.

'The soil looks so dry,' Ned says. 'Too dry to grow things in well,' says The Book. 'You will need to water it.' Ned wishes for rain to wet the soil.

Page 8
On the left side of the image, Ned stands in a workshop interior, facing a crafting table/workbench, hammering a piece of iron into the shape of a bucket with a determined expression. The Book stands at Ned's side on its two short blocky brown legs, open pages showing a picture of a bucket. The indoor setting has wooden plank flooring and stone-block walls, with storage chests visible beside the workbench. The right side of the image is plain light background. The style is Minecraft-inspired blocky 3D rendering.

Ned takes some iron and turns it into a round shape. 'I can scoop up some water in this thing, right?' asks Ned. 'That's right. This bucket will be great!' says the Book. Ned watches the bucket take shape.

Page 9
On the right side of the image, Ned stands at the edge of a body of water on a grassy bank, leaning forward with a strained, grunting expression as he lifts a heavy iron bucket full of water out of the clear blue water, his body tilting from the weight. The Book stands on the grass nearby on its two short blocky brown legs, watching. The scene is set outdoors on a sunny day at a beach/waterfront area, with stone steps, green reeds, and flowers visible in the background. The left ~40% of the image is plain light background reserved for text.

Ned dips the bucket and pulls. Splashes go all over, and it feels as heavy as rocks. 'Water is heavy, and we don't have far to go,' says The Book. Ned grunts and carries it back to the patches of dirt.

Page 10
On the left side of the image, Ned is kneeling on a large patch of brown dirt in an outdoor field, tipping an iron bucket of water into a freshly dug hole in the soil, with a hopeful but strained expression. A shovel rests on the ground beside him. The Book stands near the edge of the dirt patch on its two short blocky brown legs, open pages facing Ned. Green grass and several blocky trees fill the background behind the dirt area. The soil around the hole is visibly darkening as it becomes moist from the water. The right ~40% of the image is plain light background reserved for text. The scene is rendered in a Minecraft-style blocky 3D aesthetic with bright daytime lighting.

Ned makes a hole in the field. 'Put the water in there and the patches will get wet,' says The Book. 'I hope this works. I want bread!' says Ned. He watches the water soak into the soil.

Page 11
On the right side of the image, Ned stands on a field of tilled dirt, looking down with a curious, pleased expression at small green seedling sprouts poking out of the soil in front of him. The scene is outdoors in bright daylight, with patches of green grass visible in the background beyond the farmland. The left side of the image is plain background reserved for text.

Ned watches the tiny green buds poke up in small patches. They are just inches tall. 'Is that all?' Ned asks. 'When do I get food?' 'There is one more thing you need to do,' says The Book.

Page 12
On the left side of the image, Ned stands in a garden beside rows of growing crops (wheat/grain at various stages of growth, some reaching about half his height) planted in tilled soil. He has a calm, attentive expression, looking toward The Book. The Book stands nearby among the crops on its two short blocky brown legs, open pages facing Ned, with its quill pen in hand. The scene is set outdoors in a sunny backyard garden with large trees (including a birch tree) and green hedges in the background, creating a pleasant yard setting near the house. The right ~40% of the image is plain background reserved for text.

'You must wait,' says The Book. 'Let the sun and water do their work.' Ned waits, and the wheat grows into tall bunches. 'Well done, Ned,' says The Book. Ned wishes for a great harvest.
