Roar! A big rex is in the plants. Dinosaurs peek out at him. All blink and blink, but all just stand and look.
Dinosaurs come in all sorts. Some are tiny, and some are big. A man stands at the end. He is very tiny next to them!
Tiny hunters dash past in a pack. All run fast, fast, fast on the sand. Rex is not glad, but the pack runs on and on.
Snap! Rex snaps his big mouth. Look at all his sharp teeth. His teeth can rip and cut and crunch.
Long necks roam the plain in the sun. Red, tan, or blue? Rex bets he is red.
This dinosaur has smooth skin. But this is a fact. Some dinosaurs are kin to hens! Rex gasps. Him, kin to a hen?
A big long neck looks at her nest. Tiny dinosaurs peek up from the plants. Rex nods. Very sweet.
A tiny dinosaur trots past on its back legs. Its feet mark the sand. A footprint is a clue, and Rex can check it.
This dinosaur has big arms and a strong grip. It can grab and clutch and dig. Rex checks his tiny arms and is a bit sad.
But look! Rex grips a grub in his arms. His arms are short but strong. Tiny is not bad at all.
Up on the rocks, the long necks grin and grin. All keep a secret. The facts are not all in yet. Not for Rex. Not for you. Not for them.
Rex stands in the sun and roars. He can not get all the facts, but he can dig and ask and hunt for them. Dig, ask, and roar! Roar, roar, dinosaurs!
