Come Visit the Biomes! UFLI Foundations Lesson 74
Practice Words
Look at this big blue ocean. It is so vast and sunny. Many fish swim in it all day.
See this tiny bit of land. It is sandy and small. The ocean is vast on all sides.
This spot is not cold. Grass and kelp fill the sandy bed. Tropical fish and a squid live in this sunny spot.
This ocean is cold and dim. The bed is full of rocky bits and mud. A cod and a squid swim in the chilly mist.
This ocean is icy and cold. Big chunks of ice drift on top. It is so chilly, but a squid and a fish still live in it.
This ocean has lots of coral. The coral is pink and blue. It is so shiny! Tropical fish zip past it all day.
Not all ocean mobs are kind. This mob is cranky and bad. Zap! It can zap us, so we must not get close.
Turtle can walk on the land. He rests on the soft, sunny sand. A small mob sits by him. Then they will swim back in.
So much life is in the ocean. Fish, a squid, and Turtle swim by the coral. When the ocean is in top shape, they are all happy.
But look at all this trash on the sand. It is such a mucky, yucky mess. We must pick it all up. Help us keep the ocean tidy!
