Tik the mouse gets in. Tik finds a rope.
Page 3
Tik the mouse bites the rope. 'Ouch!' the rope says.

'My name is Klik,' it says. 'I am a mouse!'

'You are not a mouse!' Tik says. 'I am a mouse, and I can help,' says Klik.

'Can you get food?' asks Tik. 'No, but I can help with the cat,' Klik says.

Uh oh. There is a cat in this house! 'Help me, Klik, help!' shouts Tik.

The cat tries to catch Tik. The cat is quick! 'Klik! If you are a mouse, help me!' shouts Tik.

Klik tricks the cat with a dog sound! The cat runs! Tik is safe!

Tik gives Klik a big hug. Klik is glad to help. 'You are the best mouse, Klik!' says Tik.
