The sheep came home from the hill. They were all glad to be home. But while they were out, a new gate had been put in. Rose could not fit in.
The sheep push and prod to get her in. But Rose is just too big.
One sheep says, 'Do yoga! I do yoga and I fit in the gate.'
'Keep at it!' says the yoga sheep, 'Do yoga each day and you will fit in the gate.'
Rose and the yoga sheep were at it each day. Out in the heat, they would bend and reach.
It had been a week. Rose still could not fit in the gate.
One sheep says, 'Come and run with me! I run each day and I fit in the gate.'
'Keep at it!' the sheep says, 'Run each day and you will fit in the gate.' Rose ran for a week. She still could not fit in the gate.
One sheep says, 'Come and swim! I swim each day and I can fit in the gate.'
So Rose swam. 'Keep at it!' says the sheep, 'If you swim each day, you will fit in the gate.'
Rose swam all week. It was nice to get out of the heat. But she still did not fit in the gate.
'I have had it,' says Rose, 'I did yoga, and I ran, and I swam. I still can not get in the gate. There must be a way.'
Then she had it. Tools would help her get in the gate.
At last she got to sleep in her bed.
'At last you got in. What did you do?' ask the sheep.
'Yes!' says Rose, 'I am fit and I am well, but I am big. I made the gate fit me.'
