Skel and the Chase UFLI Foundations Lesson 43
Practice Words
Skel digs and digs. He has a big list and must do it all.
The sun dips at dusk. Skel can sit and rest, but rest is dull.
Jack tells Skel to stop and nap. Skel stalls and grins. No nap!
It is dim, but Skel is off on a hunt. Small Bones trots and wags.
Skel and Bones hunt up the hill. Skel is on a roll, no rest at all.
Skel has it all at last. His legs sag and his skull lolls.
Skel looks up at a big, tall phantom. Skel did not nap, and it can tell.
Run, run! Phantoms flap in a squall as Skel and Bones sprint to the hut.
Bam! Zom and Jack zap the phantoms and the phantoms fall. Skel gets in the hut.
Skel flops on his bed, snug and glad. Rest is not dull at all.
