My Mane Has Style UFLI Foundations Lesson 73
Practice Words
Look at my hair! It is big and wild, and it is full of clips. I grin and grin.
It is hot. My hair is up, up in the sky, and I sip my drink in the shade. The Dog sits by me in the sun.
We run fast on the path. My hair is flying behind me, full of plant bits. The Dog runs fast too, but he can not win.
It is cold, and flakes fall from the sky. I tuck my face into my hair, and I am snug. The Dog is cold, but he is spry.
Then I snip my hair. I cut it all off. The Dog looks at me as if to ask, 'Why, Jade, why?'
My hair is back at last! I rest in the grass, and small bugs walk on me. The Dog naps by my side.
This time I try a big box shape! Pink and green clips fill my locks. The Dog looks up at me as if to ask, 'Why, Jade?'
When I sketch, I tuck my pens into my locks. Pink pen? Grab it! Then The Dog pokes his face from inside my hair. He is spying in there!
Mom says my hair is like a nest. Winged things fly in and make a home on top. The Dog sits up there too, and he is not shy.
The wind gusts, and my hair is flying up like a big flag. The Dog is by my side, and we grin at the sky.
Mom brushes my hair and adds bands, pins and clips. The Dog pokes his face in by my locks, and Mom clips one on him too.
Will I snip my hair off? No, no, no! My long locks satisfy me. Plant bits fill them, and I grin and grin.
