Muck Is Fine! UFLI Foundations Lesson 55
Practice Words
Skel likes his brick house. He likes it to shine. 'I like it fine,' says Skel. 'Muck is fine,' says Zom.
Skel hands Jack a mop. Jack lets it drop. 'I dislike mops,' says Jack with a big grin.
Skel grips his brush. 'This grime is vile!' he yells. 'I quit! Fix the mess if you like!'
Zom and Jack flop on the grass in the sunshine. No mops. No jobs. 'This is the life!' says Jack with a smile.
The muck gets thick. Slime and grime pile up by the house. Zom stands in the muck and grins. 'Still fine!' he says.
Then the bugs come. Bugs hide in the grime. Lots of bugs glide and slide in the muck.
Zom grabs for his snack. Bugs buzz and dive at it. 'That is my snack!' Zom yells. 'Mine!'
Jack lifts a cloth. Bugs rush from a wide crack! 'No, no, no!' Jack yells, and he steps back fast.
The pets strike at the bugs. But the bugs still win. A big pink pest sits there, quite glad. 'We must get Skel,' says Zom.
Skel is back, and he has a big smile. 'So, muck is fine?' he asks. 'This time we all fix the mess,' says Skel. Zom grabs a mop, and Jack grabs a cloth.
