Jim Has a Plan UFLI Foundations Lesson 57
Practice Words
Jim and Pip dash up the path in the sunshine. Len and his pal wave. 'Jim, be quick!' Len yells.
'Look at my fine red boat!' Len says with a big grin. Jim gazes up at it, and Pip sits still and gazes as well.
'I have the best stuff of all at my home,' Jim brags. 'Next time I will bring it!' Len and the pal squint at Jim.
Back home, Jim checks his box. A frog, a ball, and a game. 'This stuff is bad,' Jim says. Pip looks in the box.
Then Jim grins wide. 'My home has fine stuff! We can take it, Pip!' Pip wags and wags.
Jim grabs a big plant in a pot. 'What a size!' he says. Then he dashes off with Pip.
Jim sits with a big dish of twine. 'Gran can make fine things with this,' he says. Pip pats at a bit of twine.
Then Jim spots Dad's game. 'Dad likes this game so much. It must be grand!' He tucks the game in his stack.
Jim grabs a big stack of books. 'I like this book!' he says. Pip has a box stuck on him. Odd Pip!
Next, Jim checks Mom's den. He has a big hat on, and pink on his lips. What a fine hat! He poses and smiles. Pip looks grand as well!
'Jim, this is Mom's hat!' Len says. He packs it back. Bit by bit, they take it all and pack it in the trunk. Jim smiles, but he blushes.
'Where is my glass flask?' Mom yells. She gazes at the spot where it should be. Jim, Len, and the pal stand still. This is quite bad!
The pals hunt in Jim's den. 'Where can it hide?' Jim yells. But in the back, Pip sniffs. Sniff, sniff! Pip wags.
Pip pokes his nose in, and there it is. The glass flask! 'Yes!' Jim yells. He hugs Pip, and Len and the pal clap. 'Pip is the best of all!'
