Jill stands on the left side of the image in an outdoor grassy Minecraft landscape, facing the viewer with a worried, slightly overwhelmed expression. She has shoulder-length auburn hair with a side-swept fringe, large round dark eyes, and light skin. She wears a bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots, and holds a gray-and-brown pickaxe in her right hand. Scattered around her on the ground are tall stacks of cobblestone blocks piled haphazardly, reinforcing the problem of having too much mined stone. Behind her, two large wooden chests sit overflowing with blocks, their lids propped open and items spilling out. The scene is set in bright daylight on a green hillside with terraced dirt and grass blocks rising in the background. The right ~40% of the image is a plain parchment-style text panel.

Jill has a mess. A big, blocky mess. She digs and digs in her mine, and now stone blocks sit here and there. Stacks on the grass. Stacks by the chests. The lids of her chests will not shut. When she packs in one more block, pop! Three fall out the other side. 'I must get this stone out,' Jill groans, 'or my home will be lost under it.'

Page 2
On the right side of the image, a long line of Minecraft-style villager characters stands queued up on a dirt and grass path, waiting to use a large bin-like structure with a doorway (Dr Can Do's stone-disposal bin) visible near the front of the queue, in a suburban neighborhood setting with buildings, green grass, and lanterns under a daytime sky with clouds. Jill stands in the middle of the line, clearly distinguishable from the brown-robed villagers by her shoulder-length auburn hair, bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. She holds her gray-and-brown pickaxe and looks frustrated and impatient, glancing toward the front of the line. Approximately eight to ten blocky villager characters in brown robes stand in the queue ahead of and behind her. The left ~40% of the image is a plain beige panel reserved for text.

No fuss. Jill will just use Dr. Can Do's big stone bin, as always. But when she gets there, the line turns round the corner. Eight villagers. Nine. Ten! Not one is in a hurry. The first villager hums. The one at the back naps standing up. 'This is so silly,' says Jill. She looks at her pick. 'I'll make my own bin. It will not be that hard!'

Page 3
On the left side of the image, Jill and Dr. Can Do stand together on a grassy area beside a pond, rendered in a Minecraft-style blocky art style. Jill stands at a three-quarter angle facing the viewer, with her shoulder-length auburn hair, bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. She holds a sheet of paper โ€” the pattern and list Dr. Can Do has just given her โ€” and looks at it with a curious, eager expression. Dr. Can Do stands beside her facing the viewer, a stocky figure with light beige skin, white bushy eyebrows, a thick white mustache, and a helpful expression. He wears a white lab coat over a white dress shirt with a red necktie, dark brown belt, dark navy-blue pants, and dark brown shoes, and holds a small gray hammer in his right hand. Between them on the ground is a crafting table with redstone components laid out, and behind them to the left is a large open chest holding buckets and redstone dust, representing the items Jill will need to build her bin. The scene is set outdoors on a bright, sunny day in a suburban neighborhood with trees, rooftops, and a stone stairway visible in the background. The right ~40% of the image is a plain beige panel reserved for text.

Jill goes to Dr. Can Do by the pond and tells him her plan. 'Make a bin?' He smiles. 'Why not?' He hands her a print and a list. 'Buckets, redstone, redstone bits. It is all in that chest. But Jill, check the print. All the bits count.' 'Got it, got it, got it.' Jill grabs a heap of redstone and grins. 'I'll have this made by lunch.'

Page 4
On the right side of the image, Jill stands in an underground room with warm glowing light, looking down with a determined expression at a redstone contraption she has assembled on wooden platforms โ€” the device is laid out but clearly incomplete, with no lava visible inside. Jill has shoulder-length auburn hair, a bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. Her gray-and-brown pickaxe rests nearby, and an empty iron bucket sits on the floor beside her, hinting at her next task. The scene is set indoors in a dimly lit crafting space with stone and wood block walls, illuminated by glowstone lights mounted on the walls. The left ~40% of the image is a plain beige panel reserved for text, framed by a decorative pixelated border.

It is not made by lunch. Down in her den, Jill lays it all out. Redstone here. Redstone bits there. It looks just like the print. Sort of. She waits. No hum. The bin must have heat inside to burn the stone, and her bucket is empty. She must hunt for a hot pit. Jill grabs the bucket and runs. 'I'll do that myself as well.'

Page 5
On the left side of the image, a Minecraft-style redstone contraption is shown from an overhead angle inside a dimly lit stone room. Red redstone dust trails run across sandstone-colored blocks on the floor, connecting to redstone repeaters and components, with a visible gap in the circuit where a piece of redstone is missing. Glowing light blocks in the upper-left corner cast a warm orange glow over the scene. The right side of the image is a plain beige background reserved for text. No characters are visible in this image.

The bin is hot at last. Jill drops in a stone block. Clunk. It just sits there. The bin will not start. 'Come on!' Jill gets up on top and peers deep into her rig. And there it is. One little gap in the redstone trail, right at the center of the path. It is as if Dr. Can Do is there: 'All the bits count.'

Page 6
On the right side of the image, Jill stands in her underground workshop beside her completed stone-disposal bin โ€” a boxy redstone contraption humming with glowing redstone trails along its surface. Jill has shoulder-length auburn hair, a bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. She holds a cobblestone block in both hands, placing it into the top of the bin with a proud, triumphant smile. A faint particle effect around the bin suggests the cobblestone is vanishing as it enters. The room is warmly lit by a torch mounted on the stone and wood block wall above her, creating a cozy interior glow. The left side of the image is a plain blank panel reserved for text.

One small bit of redstone dust. That is all it takes. The redstone path links up, and the bin hums. Jill grabs a stone block and drops it in at the top. Zap! It burns up. She grabs the next. Zap! And the next. Zap, zap, zap! 'I made it all myself!' Jill yells, but no one is there, deep under the hill. Then she grins. That is the best part.
