I am a tree kangaroo. I live in the rain forest with my mum.
I look out at the world from my mum's pouch.
When I hop out, I see a blue treat.
Mum lets me keep it in her pouch.
A tree kangaroo can go up high. I find a sweet treat to eat!
I will not chew it now. Can I save it in Mum's pouch?
Kapok flowers start to fall. It is a fun treat.

I get so tired and I need a big sleep.
But Mum will not let me get into her pouch.
Why did she say I can't get in? I am so upset I run from her.
Then I see some more tree kangaroos. One has a small baby in her pouch. The older kid grew too big. He can't get himself in too.
I think my mum must have a bub too.

Mum shows me the new bub in her pouch with all the gifts I put in.
I am the big kid now!
