Hop on the Mane! UFLI Foundations Lesson 57
Practice Words
This land is the plains. It is wide and flat, and full of grass. Chicken pecks by a tall plant.
The plains are home to a lot of mobs. A pig digs in the dust. Cow rests in the shade.
A lot of mobs graze on the grass. They munch and munch. This land has a lot of grub!
These big mobs munch on a bale by the pen. The land is flat, so it is a fine spot for a home.
A kid casts a line at the lake. He hopes to get a fish. Cod hide in the lake.
Cow grazes in the sunshine. These mobs are tame and safe. They will not bite.
A lot of tall plants are on this land. They shine in the sun. Chicken likes to gaze at them.
But if a lot of mobs graze in a spot, the grass fades. Then the land is dust. That is bad!
Big mobs stamp on the same spot and rip up the grass. Small mobs step soft. Chicken does not rip up the land.
A man takes grass to the mobs in the pen. He has a plan to save the land. The grass and the mobs can thrive!
