Practice Words
'Look!' said Fig Pig. 'A big black Enderman! It is in the rock den. Look at its eyes!' Player steps back. But Fig Pig steps up.
It is dark. Fig Pig spots the Enderman at the back of the hut. A blue jet zips up. The Enderman's eyes glint in the dark. 'It is very mad,' said Fig Pig. 'But I can not look away.'
'The Enderman picks up blocks,' said Fig Pig. 'But I do not get it.' Fig Pig marches to the rock den. 'Come, Player. In we march. We can check.' 'We?' said Player. 'We!' said Fig Pig.
The Enderman is big. It is very, very big. 'Do not look at its eyes,' said Player, and he creeps back. Fig Pig looks at the rocks. 'Big Enderman, do not panic,' he said. 'Chat with me.'
The Enderman did not chat. It did not blink. It picks up a block. It tucks the block under its long arm. Zap! It is gone. 'Come back!' shouts Fig Pig. 'Come back with that block!'
Fig Pig stands still and thinks. The Enderman grips its block as a kid grips a gift. 'Ah,' said Fig Pig. 'The Enderman is not bad. It has a wish. A wish to stack blocks, just as we do.'
A big black thing swoops in on big wings. Crash! Smash! It smashes all the blocks. All the blocks are lost. The Enderman is stuck with nothing. It screams and screams, and it can not stop.
Fig Pig stands at the wood rail. The Enderman stands out on the path. Sparks flick and flicker on its back. 'It is sad, not mad,' said Fig Pig. 'It just needs a pal. It needs us.'
