Into the Dark Forest UFLI Foundations Lesson 78
Practice Words
This is a forest. Look at all the tall trees. The shade makes the forest dim and dark. More and more trees fill the land.
We chop trees to get wood. Look at the stack of blocks and planks. Wood is for forts and homes. We can craft a lot with wood.
The forest can be risky. It is hard to see in the thick shade. Mobs can hide behind the trunks. Look before each step!
There are more sorts of forests. This forest has lots of plants. It has tall white trunks too. Two little animals munch on the grass.
This forest is so dark. The trees are tall and thick, and the canopy blocks the sun. The dark wood is for rich, dark forts.
Dark forests are more risky. Mobs can pop up in the shade. Look! The mobs come from the dark. Run!
Forests have more than wood. Look at the plants and plant bits on the grass. We can collect a lot in the forest.
Do not chop all the trees at once! Look at all the stumps. The trees are cut, and the land is not rich any more. The animals still munch on the grass.
The animals have lost their forest home. The trees are cut. Where can they live? They look up and yelp.
We can restore the forest! The kids plant fresh plants. The plants will get big. The forest will be reborn.
Trees help the planet. Forests keep the air fresh. Plant more trees, in the game or on the planet. Look at the forest in the sunset!
