Jill stands on the left side of the image in an outdoor grassy Minecraft landscape, facing the viewer with a worried, slightly overwhelmed expression. She has shoulder-length auburn hair with a side-swept fringe, large round dark eyes, and light skin. She wears a bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots, and holds a grey-and-brown pickaxe in her right hand. Scattered around her on the ground are tall stacks of cobblestone blocks piled haphazardly, reinforcing the problem of having too much mined stone. Behind her, two large wooden chests sit overflowing with blocks, their lids propped open and items spilling out. The scene is set in bright daylight on a green hillside with terraced dirt and grass blocks rising in the background. The right ~40% of the image is a plain parchment-style text panel.

Jill had a problem. A big, blocky, takes-up-the-full-yard kind of problem. She had been mining all week, and now cobblestone was all over the place. Stacks on the grass. Stacks by the door. Stacks she did not even know she had. Her chests were so stuffed that the lids would not close. Every time she tried to push in one more block... pop! Three fell out the other side. What a great big mess. 'I need to get rid of this stone,' Jill groaned, 'before my house vanishes under it.'

On the right side of the image, a long line of Minecraft-style villager characters stands queued up on a dirt and grass path, waiting to use a large bin-like structure with a doorway (Dr Can Do's stone-disposal bin) visible near the front of the queue, in a suburban neighbourhood setting with buildings, green grass, and lanterns under a daytime sky with clouds. Jill stands in the middle of the line, clearly distinguishable from the brown-robed villagers by her shoulder-length auburn hair, bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. She holds her grey-and-brown pickaxe and looks frustrated and impatient, glancing toward the front of the line. Approximately eight to ten blocky villager characters in brown robes stand in the queue ahead of and behind her. The left ~40% of the image is a plain beige panel reserved for text.

No problem. Jill would just use Dr. Can Do's bin, same as always. But when Jill got there, the line stretched all the way down the path and past the corner. Eight neighbours. Nine. Ten! Not one of them was in a hurry. The neighbour at the bin was humming. The one next to Jill slept standing up. They did not move at all. 'This is so slow,' Jill muttered. She looked at the line. She looked at her pickaxe. She looked at the line again. 'Forget it. I'll build my own bin. How hard can it be?'

On the left side of the image, Jill and Dr. Can Do stand together on a grassy area beside a pond, rendered in a Minecraft-style blocky art style. Jill stands at a three-quarter angle facing the viewer, with her shoulder-length auburn hair, bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. She holds a sheet of paper — the pattern and list Dr. Can Do has just given her — and looks at it with a curious, eager expression. Dr. Can Do stands beside her facing the viewer, a stocky figure with light beige skin, white bushy eyebrows, a thick white moustache, and a helpful expression. He wears a white lab coat over a white dress shirt with a red necktie, dark brown belt, dark navy-blue pants, and dark brown shoes, and holds a small grey hammer in his right hand. Between them on the ground is a crafting table with redstone components laid out, and behind them to the left is a large open chest holding buckets and redstone dust, representing the items Jill will need to build her bin. The scene is set outdoors on a bright, sunny day in a suburban neighbourhood with trees, rooftops, and a stone stairway visible in the background. The right ~40% of the image is a plain beige panel reserved for text.

Jill found Dr. Can Do by the garden pond and told him her plan. 'You want to build one?' He lifted a bushy white brow, then smiled. 'Well, why not?' He handed her a pattern and a list of supplies. 'Buckets, redstone, repeaters. It is all in that chest. But Jill, read the pattern straight to the end before you start. Every piece matters.' 'Got it, got it, got it.' Jill was already on the way to the chest. She scooped up a big armful of redstone and grinned. 'Hey, I'll have this done before lunch.'

Page 4
On the right side of the image, Jill stands in an underground room with warm glowing light, looking down with a determined expression at a redstone contraption she has assembled on wooden platforms — the device is laid out but clearly incomplete, with no lava visible inside. Jill has shoulder-length auburn hair, a bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. Her grey-and-brown pickaxe rests nearby, and an empty iron bucket sits on the floor beside her, hinting at her next task. The scene is set indoors in a dimly lit crafting space with stone and wood block walls, illuminated by glowstone lights mounted on the walls. The left ~40% of the image is a plain beige panel reserved for text, framed by a decorative pixelated border.

It was not done before lunch. Down in her underground room, Jill had laid it all out on wooden platforms. Repeaters on this side. Redstone on that side. It looked just like the pattern. Almost. She stepped back and waited for the bin to hum to life. Nothing happened. The bin needed lava inside to melt the stone, and Jill's bucket was empty. So now she had to find a lava pit, and the sun was already going down. She grabbed the bucket and ran straight for the door. 'Fine. I'll do that myself too.'

Page 5
On the left side of the image, a Minecraft-style redstone contraption is shown from an overhead angle inside a dimly lit stone room. Red redstone dust trails run across sandstone-coloured blocks on the floor, connecting to redstone repeaters and components, with a visible gap in the circuit where a piece of redstone is missing. Glowing light blocks in the upper-left corner cast a warm orange glow over the scene. The right side of the image is a plain beige background reserved for text. No characters are visible in this image.

Lava, collected. Put in. Jill held her breath and dropped a cobblestone block into the bin. Clunk. It just sat there. The bin still did not work. 'Hey, come on!' Jill got up on top and looked straight down into the guts of the bin. And there it was, plain as day. One tiny gap in the redstone path, right in the middle. A clean break she had missed. She could almost hear Dr. Can Do's voice in her head: 'Every piece matters.' She had not obeyed. But now she could see exactly what to do.

Page 6
On the right side of the image, Jill stands in her underground workshop beside her completed stone-disposal bin — a boxy redstone contraption humming with glowing redstone trails along its surface. Jill has shoulder-length auburn hair, a bright orange sleeveless top with a brown belt, dark brown pants, and brown boots. She holds a cobblestone block in both hands, placing it into the top of the bin with a proud, triumphant smile. A faint particle effect around the bin suggests the cobblestone is vanishing as it enters. The room is warmly lit by a torch mounted on the stone and wood block wall above her, creating a cosy interior glow. The left side of the image is a plain blank panel reserved for text.

One small piece of redstone dust. That was all. The redstone path connected. The bin hummed. Jill grabbed a cobblestone block, held it over the top, and let go. Whoosh. Gone. She grabbed another. Whoosh. And another. Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! 'I did it myself!' Jill shouted to nobody, because she was underground, all by herself. Then she laughed, because honestly? That was the greatest part.
