Nib works hard on her yarn. The boys go out. 'Lock the door!' they shout at her. 'I will be fine!' she yells.
As soon as the boys go, a blue troll comes to the house. He lives in a cave and likes to eat kids.
He can see Nib at work on her yarn. She has her back to the door and can not see him.
The beast puts his eyes to the small window. He is too big. So, he will try the door.
The beast can reach in and grab Nib. She tugs her yarn with her.
She lets the wool make a path for the boys to find.
They reach the cave. Nib must be in there with the troll.
The troll sleeps. They get the key from his waist.
The boy can use the key to let the kids out. He can not make a sound.
But the beast still hears them. 'Hey! That's my lunch!' he yells.
He tries to run to catch the kids. But the yarn is around him, and he falls.
That was a smart trick, Nib. But next time, lock the door!
