My Old Wand <ai> <ay>

There is a shop with wands in the window. Aidan would love to buy a wand.
'I would like to buy a wand,' he said.
'This is not a lot,' said the man in the shop.
All Aidan can get is an old wand.
Aidan runs off. He can't wait to try the wand.
He tries his first spell. 'I want a toy train!' he says.
But it does not work. Only ribbons come out of his wand.
He tries again. 'I want a ball!' he yells.
He gets a lot of sweets. But he wants a ball.
'Why won't my wand do what I want?' he said, 'I must need to speak up.' 'I WANT A DOG!' he yells.
And he gets rain. Aidan is fed up.
Then he sees a bit that broke on the wand. He pulls it off.
He tries to use it again. 'I want to fly!' he says.
Off he goes with his old wand that is like new again.
