Mirror Magic <ei>

A farmer had three very selfish children. Their behaviour was very poor.

They wanted to play with the farmer's magic mirror. 'No, you are being very naughty right now. You can look later,' he said.

The naughty children did not listen to their father and went to look right away.

Instead of seeing their faces reflected back, the magic mirror showed them three weird, ugly monsters.

'I'll show that mirror I look nice,' said the feisty, oldest brother. He pulled on his best jacket and went back to the mirror.

But the weird troll like monster was still reflected back at him.

'Maybe if we run past quickly?' said the sister. And she jumped in front of the mirror only to see her reflection had not changed.

'Maybe if we smile at it?' the youngest boy said. He pulled his mouth up into a weak grin. A weird monster grinned back at him.

The frightened children ran and hid in their beds. Their father came past and gave them some advice. 'The magic mirror sees what is inside you. If you do good things, then you will look good,' he said.

The farmer called them back inside and told them to look again. There they were, smiling and looking nice, the troll monsters all gone.
