I Can Do Magic (Soft g)

My name is Susy, and I am eleven years old. Ever since I was a baby, I have wanted to do amazing things. One of my friends wants to be a doctor. Another wants to be an engineer. What do I want to be?
I want to be a magician! I want to do tricks, and put on a show. I want to surprise my friends and make them laugh. I want to be Susy, Queen of Magic!
But the problem is... I don't know how! I don't know any tricks. I don't have any special tools, and I don't have any magician's clothes. I don't think I can do it all on my own. I will need a helper, too!
Where can I find a helper? Well... I have Mak. Mak is my dog, and my best friend! He's quick, and clever, and just who I need. He loves to help me, and I love him helping me! We will be the Queen of Magic... and the Orange Spirit!
Jump, Orange Spirit! Catch that balloon! Make it disappear, and then bring it right back again! Such a good dog. You'll be so much help in the show!
Now, for some tricks for myself. Look at this huge book I found. It's full of tricks and surprises. If I read enough, I will be able to do them all for my friends. So, I have my helper and the tricks. The last thing is... I need to look like a magician!
We don't have much in the house, but let's try the kitchen. Oh, what's this over here? This old rice basket is a little large, but it should do the job. It will be my gold crown, fit for a magic queen.
Look, Mak! One of my old sheets. If I am gentle, it will turn into a beautiful gown. My magic clothes are complete. Now, all I need are the tools!
Here's a box for all my tricks. It used to hold ginseng, but now it will hold all of my magic. But now, I need a wand. It should be long and thin. Is there anything else around here I can use?
I've got it! This chopstick will do. A fine wand, for a fine magician! I have my crown, my gown, my box, and my wand. I have the tricks and my helper, the Orange Spirit. Is there anything else I need?
No! I have everything, so it's time for the show! I appear on the stage, as brilliant as Susy, Queen of Magic should be. My helper, the Orange Spirit, makes my friends laugh, and my tricks make them gasp in surprise.
My show is a success! They want me to do it again next week. I couldn't have done it without you, Mak. Thank you for helping me. You made the Magic Queen very happy. Happy and proud!
