It's midnight, and I speed swiftly along the rails. I am a train, and I ride happy and free. I travel near, I travel far, I travel everywhere!
Past a tree, under a bridge, along the water, I leave cars and trucks far behind. Nobody is faster than me! I am so quick and so free.
I can go anywhere, when I follow the rails. It's so great! I go faster and faster, past every town and city I have been before.
But wait, maybe I have gone too far. I have not been here before. Why are all the trees so mean? I don't see anything I like.
Oh no! I am so far away from anywhere I have ever been before. Is that an elephant? I am so scared, I want to go home, but I think, I have lost the way.
I am so scared that I stop, crying and shaking. But all of a sudden, a boy comes out from the trees. 'Don't worry, blue train! Nobody will hurt you. I will help. Just follow my music!'
He holds a magic flute and begins to play. The music is so sweet and calm. As I listen, I start to feel better. 'Yes, keep going, little boy,' I say, 'I think, I feel brave now! I can go anywhere!'
I dance around the boy, cheerful once again. Animals come from everywhere, drawn by the music and our laughter. I feel as brave as I have ever been!
Thanks to the boy and the flute, I keep going on my journey, racing along the rails to places I have never been. Nobody can scare me anymore. I am a train, happy and free!
