Two-syllable words where 'es' is added to form plurals, creating an extra syllable.
Their mum and dad have told them to clean the house when they get home from school. Oh no! It is such a mess! They have not kept up with their chores.

Their rooms are all clean now. He puts his slippers by the bed. She feeds the fish.
Now that they are done with their chores, they can have fun all weekend! It was good to get in and do all of their jobs first.
