# Bookbot Kids

> Bookbot is a free library of 1,390+ decodable books for children ages 5-9, organized by phonics level and aligned with science-of-reading instruction.

Bookbot helps children learn to read through structured phonics. Our decodable books contain only letter-sound patterns children have already learned, building confidence and fluency. Children using Bookbot improve reading fluency by 2x over a year.

Books progress through four stages: phonemic awareness and blending (CVC words like "sat", "pin"), decoding (silent-e, digraphs, multi-syllable words), fluency (automatic word recognition), and comprehension.

## Reading Levels

Our 50 reading levels map to phonics programs including Jolly Phonics, Sounds Write, Letters and Sounds, UFLI Foundations, Fundations, and others. Levels 1-25 correspond to Grade 1, levels 26-50 to Grade 2, and 50+ to Grade 3.
