Pep is getting ready for the street parade. He loves to slap paint around, and he sets to work on his float.
Oops! Pep tips over all the paint tins. But he really likes how all the colors have mixed and made new colors.
New colors have formed like purple pink and orange yellow. They are all over the wall and that gives pep an idea.
He starts to mix more colors. He enjoys how the paints change.
He likes it so much on the wall, that he starts mixing colors all over his house.
When he looks outside, Pep sees that the whole town is boring white and brown.
So, he starts to fix that. A red hut here! A yellow roof there!
The others in the town are not happy with Pep's mixed paints splashed over the houses.
But he can't stop. He mixes blue and red to paint a door purple, even when his friend tells him to stop.
They all get so cross they chase him up the hill, leaving colored prints up the path.
When his friends get to the top, Pep tells them to turn around and look back at the town.
Maybe Pep was right. The whole town looks bright now, ready for a fun street parade.
