Market Fun (Soft c)

It was a sunny day today, and you didn't come out to play. What were you doing?

I went to the city with my dad, and he took me to a market. There were lots of things to see. I had an orange ice block.

And then, I saw a boy eating pink fairy floss, and I wanted some of that too. But dad said I wouldn't eat my dinner.

I bought a balloon. I gave it to a little boy who was crying. But he didn't hold on and he cried some more.

There was a man playing flutes. He had lots of them to sell. I didn't think I could make it sound as sweet. His music was so good I wanted to dance.

There were lots of toys for sale. I saw a little blue bus that you could pull along behind yourself. But I didn't have any money left.

And there were so many stalls selling all kinds of things like fancy fabric and a nice yellow skirt.

I wanted to try on the sun glasses, but dad said my fingers were sticky, and I shouldn't touch.

Yes, we can see that you had fun. It's still all over your hands and face.
