Hi folks, I am Pokey! All cats need to sleep. But it is hard for a street cat like me.

Oh, I see a box! But there are cats in here. 'This box is full,' they say.

I see a spot for me! A hole in a roof! I will be dry and can sleep.

I am glad I got here. There is room for me and a lot more! But it is a bit cold up here.

FLASH! BANG! CRACK! Oh no, those poor cats! 'Flee, quick!' I yell.

'Can we come up there?' ask the cats. They were mean, but it's hard to be a street cat. 'Yes, quick!' I say.

We are all up here. Four cats in this roof. But we all need to sleep.

Now it is not so cold. It is hard to be a street cat. But if we get help, it gets less hard!
